Question / Help Window Capture not Working Properly

So, I've been trying to set up OBS to record a window, but this keeps happening.

The preview screen is frozen, and it doesn't even show Clone Hero (the game) anywhere.

Any help?

There's a certain way to get cutouts of the game. The game is like Guitar Hero, and I only want certain parts of it when recording/streaming, and it only works with a window capture.

It's not cropping, I have to use several masks to get different portions of the screen, and it doesn't work in game capture (I just tried it and it doesn't)

did you ever get a fix to this? I'm trying to set this up now and am having the same issues!
