Question / Help Window Capture not working at all

So, as the title explains, window capture doesn't work at all.
After installing OBS, i just can't get it to work
The problem is that OBS simply won't let me choose a window to capture.

the window selection bar does nothing when clicked, and I have no idea what to do.

I guess I need to provide more details?
Monitor capture and browsersource work, so does media streaming.
The problem only arises in windowed mode and gaming mode (gaming mode also cant select anything, but is less of a nuisance).
Streaming works on OBS Classic and my video drivers are all up to date.
Please help.

I had no idea that my antivirus would cause a problem with something like this.
