Attached is a screencap of my issue. When using Window capture to display Photoshop, when i open my files to work on them it stays stuck on the start menu displaying in OBS and refuses to show the actual file I have open. You can see the title of the file on the top left but it continues to be stuck on the start menu for what its actually displaying in OBS. I don't know how to fix this? I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, tried Display capture but Display capture only gives me a grey box and refuses to work too. I don't know why my OBS studio is completely defunct and doesn't let me do anything. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

Photoshop uses hardware acceleration for part of its display, and OBS isn't able to capture this with window capture. The workaround for this is display capture. If you're on a laptop, see this for troubleshooting your display capture issue:

Thank you for your quick reply! I attempted the troubleshooting with setting OBS to integrated graphics but am still experiencing the grey screen/inability to use Display Capture. Are you by chance aware of any other fixes to get Display Capture to work?

You will need to set OBS to run on your Intel GPU to use display capture. This thread explains how:

Depending on your Windows version and what sources you wish to use, you may need to set OBS to run on a specific GPU. Not sure which Windows version you have? Press Windows+R and run "winver". For Windows 10 1909 or newer: Open Settings and search for "Graphics Settings". Select "Classic App"...
