Window capture issues (window capture colorspace, window capture size with UI scaling)

Been using OBS Studio for about a year and am trying to do some unusual capture things with unusual equipment, running 26.1.1 x64 on Windows 10.

The first bug I ran into was in capturing a full sized window in OBS. My canvas size is 1080p, but my monitor is a 4k TV running 250% UI scaling. I don't know which is the problem, but when I capture a window the full size of the screen, it shows up as the top left corner of a 4k screen, at accordingly lower resolution. This is a problem as the reduced resolution also reduces the fidelity of the source. My specific situation is using a program called SharpCap to capture an astronomy camera that doesn't have the hardware/drivers to be captured directly by OBS. My solution of capturing as is and cropping works, just at a lower fidelity than the camera actually offers.

The second issue I've encountered was actually trying a different camera capture program for the same camera - this time FireCapture. While the top left corner issue persists, I also run into strange square shape image problems in the camera feed itself - though not the icons or menus of the program. This is the same kind of color artifacting (made black and white, odd square sort of mosaic effect with pyramid tiles, if that makes sense) when capturing an industrial camera with the default color format. The problem I have is that while with the camera, I could change to a different color format, whereas with window capture I have no such option. Since video playback in the captured window can apparently use a different color format, it would be great if there was a choice of format for Window Capture.

Neither of these issues actually throw errors, but if you need a log file or other demonstration I can do that.

I appreciate the software and very much like the UI scaling improvements with 26.1 on this screen, it's not perfect but it's a great improvement. If there's something more I can offer for describing my problem or potential fixes to try, I'm happy to try and contribute.
