Will we ever be able to use HAGS along with OBS?

I guess the guy with the crystal ball got missing, so you need to wait for reports from the Microsoft side for some resolution. I don't know what issues HAGS actually has with current and updated Windows versions. May be it was only for the very first implementation in Windows 10 2004 (released more than 2 years ago). In the meantime, GPU hardware was updated, Windows was updated, GPU drivers were updated, OBS Studio was updated, so quite some parties were involved.

Since I never saw any common issues in this and other forums that point to HAGS as reason for performance issues, I would say this isn't an issue today.

What is it that HAGS is supposed to to that messes up OBS? I've always had it on and my CPU rarely goes over 7%

HAGS simply destroys the capture performance when using a game that uses it.
I can't record at 60FPS in 4K in no games that uses HAGS, if I disable HAGS I can record at even higher framerate than 60FPS.

Using an RTX4090 and a 13900K here.
