I was looking at Xsplit Broadcaster, but they pretty much told me that my machine wouldn't be able to handle what I wanted their software to do, so I'm looking at OBS.
I have a 13-inch non-Retina display MacBook Pro
2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 (Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz) with 4MB shared L3 cache
8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 memory
500GB 5400-rpm hard drive
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Also, I could run the Windows version of the software if needed as I have Bootcamp and Win7.
I want to plug two webcams and a microphone into the laptop and be able to switch between the two cams. No screen capture, no game capture, just switching between the two webcams. I would mainly record and upload later, but might stream to YouTube as well.
I'm a tabletop wargamer and want to make painting tutorials. Being able to switch on the fly would be great, and being able to stream it live would be awesome, too.
Thanks for your help!
