Will OBS benefit from a 3090 over a 3080 TI?

I'm setting up a new PC for gaming+streaming and the GPU prices are lower now. Might as well get the best possible GPU (a 3090 or even 3090 TI).

I know the extra gigs of memory are kinda useless for gaming, but how about scene composition in OBS? Will I have more headroom for the games?
