Question / Help Will It OBS?

First I want to thank all the people involved with developing and maintaining OBS. Is there a donation link somewhere?

Second -- I'm looking to upgrade my live streams (and probably recording my video too).... The gear I have for audio/video is:

- Rodecaster Pro (if you haven't used one, they are sweet)
- Two Logitech C922 webcams
- One Elgato Stream Deck

be able to handle live streaming to YouTube with OBS and the gear I listed?

There's a "Contribute" button on the front page.

If you have to stream with a laptop you want one with NVENC, which means an Nvidia GTX card, preferably the newest generation you can justify. The quality and performance of the AMD equivalent (AMF encoder) is not close.

The next best performer is the QSV (QuickSync) encoder... which you only get in Intel CPUs, so that laptop doesn't have that, either.

Laptops in general are not ideal, that one less so than most.
