Question / Help WiFi camera recommendations

I’m very new to live streaming and could use some help.

My goal is to setup a live stream (probably YouTube) of my bee hives that I can link to from my web page so that anyone can watch the bees at work. I’ve found several “how-to’s” for setting up OBS for this but could really use some recommendations for inexpensive (<$100 US) outdoor WiFi cameras that will work with OBS.

I am doing something similar (possibly building 50 units). Youtube, I ran some tests in parallel through a rtmp server to twitch.tv and youtube, youtube basically destroyed the video quality, while twitchtv was good. How are you going to power it? Does it need to be waterproof? I assume a (very) wide lens? I have a cheap 720p camera $35US that U use to monitor my 3d printer. However it just wont do this as the fps sucks, but if its on nightvision mode its actually better (better frame rate & resolution) and might work. You could try a 1080p camera at around $70US but I have my doubts that would be good enough as well. You also need to consider a fairly wide lens? The other more expensive option build something using a Raspberry Pi3 and a better lens but that would be more like $200US. Then there is how are you going to power it? I am building a pi3 into a 19litre chilli bin with a 18ah battery for a filed project and I dont think I'll get 24 hours out of it, more like 10~12. The better option is PoE (power over ethernet) for long running but then you are restricted to some metres distance. The biggest issue I found is finding a camera with a good interface to use with OBS, basically they all seem to be propriety phone home un-stable and insecure crap, hence the Pi3 idea.

I have power at the hives (120 volt outlet).

The camera would definitely need to be weatherproof. Probably wouldn’t need super high resolution though. I was thinking about 720P/60. Would be viewing an area roughly 4 feet wide at a distance of maybe 3 or 4 feet.
