Settings show 16:9 for both canvas and output, but the on-screen video display and the recorded video are more in the direction of square. I'm recording talking head using a Logitech 920 webcam. Thanks

Can anyone please advise me how to avoid video lag behind the sound? I'm doing a straight recording of talking head via Logitech 920 webcam with Blue Yeti sound input. Thanks

You audio and video paths are different (Ballast Media has a succinct YouTube video on audio video sync). It is natural and appropriate that small bandwidth, quicker processed audio is ahead of video. There is no easy button in free software like OBS to resolve (that I'm aware of). Lots of YouTube and other articles on how to address audio/video sync.
Personally, I use this video (downloaded onto tablet) from PTZOptics.com/Streamgeeks OBS Audio Sync Test
