Question / Help Why is this software so inconsistant?

Yesterday I had two scenes, one for faeria one for overwatch. Everything worked fine and for like 5 hours straight yesterday. I log off everything, shut down, and when i come back today? POOF! I cant see the webcam. I try deleting the source and remaking it and yet somehow in doing that i lose the display of the game capture. I'm not a computer expert, but im pretty literate and can't fathom how these things just suddenly stop working.

Please grab a log, but also understand that a vast majority of computers do not stay static. "It worked yesterday, it should work today" is not a valid response when trying to troubleshoot something. You should be saying "It worked yesterday, what changed." I understand it can be difficult to set aside your frustration and desire to immediately point blame at something obvious, but it's not always that simple.

Driver updates, software updates, etc. can call have an impact on your PC and OBS. Grab a log from a session that had issues with your webcam and we can take a look and see what's going on.
