Question / Help why is my obs crashing high Sierra and also clipping the audio quality

Obs was working fine
then with the new Mac high Sierra update

it made my software program for audio Abelton Live clip the audio continuously

also finally after about an hour of streaming clipped audio the computer crashed

good to know that I was using my Mac air also using high Sierra
when that didn't work I transferred to my Mac book pro
