Like I have a gtx 1070 17-6700 so I should be able to record in this. What is the issue, my friend with a laptop literally can record with no lag. Like what is happening.

1. Run OBS as Admin
2. Recording at a tremendously high framerate (240 FPS) will not give you higher quality recordings. Usually quite the opposite. Most computers cannot handle encoding at high framerates. You can change your OBS frame rate in Settings -> Video.
You cannot view 240 Frames Per Second on a monitor that only refreshes 144 times per second.
