Question / Help Why does OBS Studio export videos in .json format?

I've tried everything; I've tried going into the settings and changing the desired format, but nothing's working. Given I'm a newcomer to OBS Studio, I'm probably missing something here. Please, anyone get back to me if you can.

Scene exports aren't videos. They're layout information.

Recordings are automatically saved and do not need separate exporting.
They can be found in file - Show Recordings Folder

OBS is not a video editor. It's a live streaming/recording tool. So to begin a streaming/recording session, click on start streaming/start recording, and after you're done, click again to stop. You find your recordings in the folder Harold mentioned.
