Why do some games capture properly while others display a black screen when I use the "capture any fullscreen application" feature

At first, I tried recording EU4 but couldn't capture it, but later I played another game in Battlefield 1 and found that I could capture it again；
And I am confident that both are running in full screen and the resolution is set to 1920 * 1080
but somehow when switching windows, the computer screen will go black for a few seconds by the way while playing EU4 by the way
