Why can't OBS recognize the Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder when I want to add it as my source. It does not work when I want to add the Blackmagic Device or Video Capture Device. It appears fine in Blackmagic Media Express.

Hope someone can help me.

Just like Wirecast, even at $500, doesn't support the H.264 Pro Recoder. A BIG shame. I have to lug around a desktop computer with a DeckLink 4K Extereme card, and monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. Just silly. All I want to do is stream from laptop with pro recorder like you can do with LiveStream.
By the way, even with this setup I'm getting audio way out of sync on FBL playback. Live feed is rock solid.
Lot's of problems trying to professionally stream to FBL. I actually found best way is to rent a Teradek Vidiu or Vidiu Pro, small self contained device you can control from an app. FBL was rock solid in both live and playback. Seems FaceBook likes to screw around with your steam, and by re-compressing it for archived playback, ruins audio sync.
It's been a frustrating experience, FBL was intended to just stream from iPhone/etc. however WOWZA just put out a Facebook Live streaming appliance for $6K (yes that's $6,000) that's supposed to be foolproof.
Anyway good luck in your productions
