Question / Help Why audio drops when loading OBS

Hello, I am recording a desktop window that has sound and when I load OBS the sound slowly drops to almost 0 then I have to go into the OBS advanced audio settings and increase the volume to 2000

Any way of stopping OBS from quieting your system?
