I have a problem which I am unable to solve. Here it is!

My purpose is to save disk space and therefore I have recorded by OBS only the most important on the screen.
The size of the recorded area is app. 10% of the whole screen.

However both recorded *.mkv files are almost as large in megabytes.
What do I do wrong?

I supposed that the smaller recorded area would be much smaller, but so far I have not succeeded in that goal.

All of your hints and points of view in this matter are much appriciated!

The technic I have used to crop the whole screen to a tiny winwow is kindly teached for me in this link by Takyano.

The final file size for modern encoders depends on content. More moves of the small objects = larger file.
