Question / Help White Screen Problem when Recording Specific Game

Hello, so this is my first thread ever since this is the first problem i run into that i'm not able to solve. I'm a small youtuber I started almost 3 months ago so I haven't been using OBS Studio very long. But I just recorded a part of a new let's play of the game American McGee's Alice. Almost everything works fine exept for a White screen overlay randomly appearing during cutscenes. In the cutscenes when playing the game eveything fades to white and then the cutscene starts in a matter of seconds. This is what happens in the game. What happens in recording is everything fades to white and it stays white untill it either go's over into another cutscene or back to the game. The Subtitles still appear and around them you can see the cutscene playing in the background but the white screen/overlay stays.
