White balancing issues

Hi there,

currently I'm recording video-presentations with OBS and a Logitech BRIO.
The result is not yet really satisfying, I'm struggling with the automatic white balance (automatischer Weißabgleich), my skin-color looks strange and as soon as I move my hand, it even changes.

I have set the white balance to 'automatic' (via the Logitech camera software), no filters (except chroma key for my greenscreen) in OBS applied.

How would I set the white balance in such a quite static environment?
I am using two professional video lights, so the lighting should not be an issue.

Thanks in advance,

Stefan

Hi there,

seems I found a solution for my problems: switch off automatic white balancing and find some working settings for each light situation.

In conjunction with the greenscreen and chroma-key, it seems to me that I get the best results when setting the color a bit warmer in the camera settings, which gives me a broader range of fine tuning the settings for the chroma key filter.

Don't know exactly why this would make sense, baut anyways - the result is more satisfying now.

If there would be some information about how these parameters correlate, I'd be curious!
