Hello, I have been wanting to stream/record Rocket League, and as far as I know, my computer can handle it. While not recording, I get upwards of 110 FPS. When I start recording, my FPS drops, but only to 70 or higher. At this time, I visually experience FPS drop in my gameplay (but not in the recording!). My monitor is 60Hz and my FPS never goes below 60. Why is it that this is happening and is there a possible fix?
My Specs:
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 8-Core, OC to 3.8GHz
MB: ASRock - X370 KILLER SLI/ac ATX AM4
RAM: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2400
GPU: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0
My monitor is 1920x1080 60Hz, and I have tried recording in both 1920x1080 and 1280x720.
Edit: A possibly related issue is that, when I have OBS open at all (preview on/off doesn't matter), my FPS drops by up to100. This is happening even if I am not recording.
