Hey guys, needed some advice on a 2 pc system with similar cpus, I'm not using a capture card to link them I am using Lan/Nginx
I have 2x CPU, an I5-2500k and I5-2500s, I can overclock the I5-2500k to 4.7ghz easily therefore producing much more processing power than the 'S' chip, so which one would benefit the most from the extra juice?
On my gaming PC I am using Nvenc @55k on bluray setting to encode the game and send it to the streaming PC,
then 2k bitrate @faster preset on the streaming pc.
Which one needs the most cpu power? the gaming PC that is using nvenc @55k or the end pc that streams that data to twitch?
at present the i52500k is in the streaming PC but the MOBO does not support overclocking, if the streaming pc is the one that needs the most juice, I will switch the mobo's around for my gigabyte z68 so I can crank it up, If the gaming pc needs it most, I will swap the CPU's, I could do extensive trial and error but thought I'd ask first.
Thanks.
