Question / Help Which encoder should i use?

I've been streaming for a while and i've always used x264 as my enocoder.
Currently i am running a Ryzen 7 1700x CPU and i have an RTX 2060 GPU and 16GB RAM.
I was wondering if switching to NVENC H.264 is actually worth it and how well is my gpu going to take it.
When streaming with x264 i stream on 5000 bitrate with no isseus (In case this info matters).

Nvenc is a dedicated circuit on the GPU, so there is no performance impact for any game running on the GPU. Actually, it's less resource demand in all components, because less data has to be moved around between system calls, so you get better quality and less performance impact by using nvenc (new).
