Question / Help Which encoder is the best for me?

My PC Specs are:
i7 4770k
650Ti (2 GB VRAM)
2x4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz

I used x264 (veryfast) for a really long time, and I didn't use nvenc cuz my cpu will handle encoding better than my gpu.
But should I use quicksync h264?

From my experience on that generation of hardware, quicksync is worse than nvenc for both quality, and capability.

Stick with x264 veryfast. If you encode at 720p60, you can also possibly bump the preset to fast, but that's on a case-by-case basis depending on whatever else you're running.
