Which Downscale filter to use / And Does it apply if you're not Downscaling??

I am wondering what the difference is on these filters. I've read previously Lanz is good for Real video not so much gaming?

Also Do they apply these filters if the canvas and base output are the same i.e 1080p canvas and 1080 output?

Lastly would this filter setting matter if I am doing a Base Canvas 1080, and an output 1080 with local recording settings @ High Quality, Medium File Size ?

Thanks... sorry a lot of questions. But just trying to get as much clarity out of my stream and recording as possible.

If you are not downscaling, the downscale setting does absolutely nothing, no matter what you have it set to.

They are different sampling methods. The performance difference between them is minimal; most users should just use the Lanczos or Bicubic option, depending if they want a digital sharpening pass (which can create ringing artifacts) or not.
