Question / Help Which card is working with OBS on Mac?

Straight question which card is supported by OBS directly? I had an Elgato and OBS doesn't see it so I want to buy another now and use obs. Which one is working directly?


Also I saw this on avermedia page regarding live gamer portable 2-
*Live Gamer Portable 2 supports Mac OS with 3rd party APs such as OBS, Quicktime, but not with RECentral AP.

Is it working?

Magewell, BlackMagic, AJA UTAP HDMI.

Like Elgato, Avermedia's OBS support claim is usually about Windows, not Mac. Both support only their own bundled software on MacOS as they do not provide standard video driver support. However, if they claim the Live Gamer Portable 2 works with Quicktime, they may have full support for it. Never used one myself.

Not only Quicktime but OBS also. Hmm, i think i can order and try it out, if not then return back.

I have not used Magewell but I have heard of others having positive results. I considered them before going with AJA.
