I am looking at getting a setup together that can switch between 2/3 live cameras and stream to Facebook live. OBS looks like it can do this.
The cameras will be around 10m away from the computer running OBS, so ethernet might be the best option to connect them, however they will need to remain in sync.
I was thinking of using Raspberry Pi's with the 8MB camera module and having a RTMP server on each Pi that OBS can pull the streams from.
Does this sound like the right way to go about it? Are there any off the shelf cameras that could do the job instead?
As far as I can tell, some of the surveillance cameras can do PoE and RTMP, but I am concerned that the quality will not be as good.
