After taking about a 3 month break from streaming i recently started again, when i used to stream I used NVENC with no problems but now when i press start streaming with it selected obs studio crashes. It is hard for me to use x264 because my cpu is bad and so in any games besides CSGO then stream freezes a lot. I've tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers, downgrading drivers, reinstalling obs but nothing works. https://gist.github.com/anonymous/fc58398a7fffc929ce076b16c9243783

Make sure that you're running the latest OBS Studio release and the latest NVidia drivers as well.

1. Make a backup of your scenes (if you want to save them).
2. Uninstall OBS completely. (That includes deleting the folder it was installed to if the uninstaller doesn't remove it).
3. Perform a clean driver installation for your GPU by following the instructions at http://obsproject.com/forum/resources/performing-a-clean-gpu-driver-installation.65/
4. Test and make sure your driver is working correctly (try a few games and makes sure that the fps are about the same as before).
5. Install OBS Studio (and nothing else, no extra plugins, etc.) and run it. Try to stream using NVENC. (Don't copy over your old settings/scenes until this step clears).
6. If everything is good, copy over your scenes and try again.

Also, what Anti-virus are you running?
