Question / Help When Streaming with OBS in game FPS frop 50%

Hi everyone,

I just started using OBS more seriously and I do not know how to fix this issue,

When I am not streaming Overwatch I am generally getting ~75-80 FPS,

As soon as I stream it drops to 25-30,

If anyone can help me or tell me what information i need to give to help thjat would be great

Post a logfile. We really need it to see what's going on, on the back end. Why it asks for one any time you open a thread in Q&H.

Enable Aero. Turning it off is NOT recommended; OBS runs faster and more smoothly with it enabled. Switching it off is old information from the Vista days when it had a significant impact, that is no longer generally true.

Also make sure that you are playing with VSync enabled; if the GPU is overloaded it can cause performance issues, and vsync can help mitigate that.

Aero is enabled
