When posting recording to YouTube audio gets distorted

Hello,
I use OBS to record videos, not for streaming. When I post the video to YouTube the audio gets distorted. Everything looks and sounds great on my desktop but gets messed up on YouTube. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Canon 90D as webcam
Blue Yeti mic
Asus Nitro 5 laptop

if i understand this correctly, you can record the video with obs and play the resulting file back on your computer without any audio issues but when you upload this to youtube it is distorted. You might want to check the youtube support pages for possible answers. maybe someone with more insight than i have may chime in with a better answer, but until then that is where i would start.
