Question / Help When playing "Osu!", game drops frames insanely.

Normally when I stream Osu! on OBS classic, I get around 240 frames on menu and only 3.2ms input lag on gameplay. (cant measure FPS) but when I use the game capture on OBS Studio for Osu! the game immediately drops from 240 frames on menu to 90 or 60 fps. Almost as if the FPS was being forced to be locked at those values. Resulting in a lot of input lag in-game. Which is insane for a real time-performance-relying game. Can someone tell me how I can fix this?

Ask me for a Log File if the file could not be attached.

Try to switch OBS Studio renderer back to the Direct3D 11 at Settings>Advanced. For 'Game Capture' source uncheck Multi-adapter Compatibility option. Enable v-sync in the game.

Post new log if you still have issues. Capturing application at 240fps and more can decrease performance. You must limit frame rate of the game to capture it properly. Game lag can caused by lack of the fps limiter (v-sync at least, together with 60Hz display). Current OBS Studio build can produce only 120 fps video. If you really want to record 120fps high resolution video, you'll need more powerful PC and source with constant frame rate for best quality.
