I have been having an issue with my ISP(internet service provider), or so I think? I am trying to figure out exactly how to diagnose my problems and know for sure what or who is at fault here.
Firstly my ISP has always been a bit sketchy, any time I have issue they blame my router and nothing of their system. So how can I diagnose it for sure?
I stream through OBS Studio, and every now and then I get some dropped frames which isn't too bad, but then, I will get a situation where it is trying to pull like 14k mbps through the bitrate or plummet to like 400 and I am dropping all of the frames. So the stream is basically unviewable to my viewers. This happens from time to time but my stream doesn't drop, it just sucks for like a minute.
Now recently, after having components in the cable line replaced, I have been having this issue where OBS automatically disconnects and the stream gets rebooted. I don't drop frames on this time, but the stream definitely cuts out for my viewers. Odder yet, when it reconnects, for some reason, all sound sources are completely muted. My mic, my game, and all desktop audio sources. So I have to manually restart the stream anyways.
I attached log files of a couple of streams just to see if something can be figured out. Supposedly I get around 300 DL and 25 UL for speeds. Any help would be appreciated.
I have reset my router and all my OBS settings and started fresh before. We don't have a crazy amount of things connected to the wifi. The router is RTAX88u is the router. I just cannot see how it could be my equipment like they are suggesting.
Thanks in advance.
