Hello,
I'm a little lost as to what to do here, which is the reason why I'm posting so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. So let me explain the situation, I have 2 internet connections, 1 goes to the PC which is used to stream and 1 goes to the PS4. The PS4 connects to the PC via an Elgato in order to capture the screen.
When I stream the playstation everything works fine and occasionally it starts to struggle live streaming it on the PC. The playstation internet remains fine as I still have all green bars. I initially thought it was youtube problem so went to twitch, lowered my bandwith by 3000 kbps as twitch quality is better but I had the same problem (Youtube was 5.5k, Twitch 2.5k). The problem became even more questionable as tonight I was streaming it started to drop then said 0 (Literally was not sending anything) so I tried loading a webpage and it worked instantly loaded the page no problems. This was all on the PC that was streaming, I could load another stream on youtube, I even loaded my own stream and was typing in the chat of the stream that was not working.
Does anyone know what this could be? I then started to stream marbles (A game that you can play on the PC) and I didn't drop a single frame. The playstation was still on but I'm really confused. As mentioned the playstation 4 is on 1 internet connection and the PC is on another so neither should interact with each other. My upload speed is 20mb, and I've just used the twitch test and they all say 8k+ so I'm well within the limits. I'm just really confused and I pride myself on bringing the best content I can.
I've attached a log if it helps?
Cheers,
Martin.
