Question / Help When ever I open OBS studio it comes up with this. . . .

"The program can't start because MSVCR120.dll is missing from your computer. . . ." And when i open it there's no preview of anything on the screen. The screen is just gray. So I reinstalled the program and it still came up with the same thing. I'm so confused!!!

I fixed it, if any one else has this problem I had to install stuff on Intel Core thing that pops up after installing.

But I still have some problems when recording games. If I record Minecraft it has black bars on the side after recording and I dont know why. . .

Hello, does the information above about get the "2013 C++ Redistributables" apply even if this MSVCR120.DLL is already on my machine? A search on the machine finds it. Does it just need to be copied into a particular folder for OBS to "see" it?

Or will the MS download described above solve this completely?

There are several versions of the .dll, and different programs require different versions. The ones linked are the correct ones to get, and no others will do.

Please follow the instructions I first posted.
