Hey guys, thanks in advance.
During the lockdown I've been getting into streaming, initially via my console but now I'm trying out OBS via my macbook.
So the mac I have is:
Macbook Pro 13' early 2015
2.7 ghz dual-core intel core i5
8gb 1867 mhz ddr3
intel iris graphics 6100 1536mb
And my internet speed is 50mb download and 20mb upload.
I've gone through all my files and deleting everything not essential so I've got 45gb free in storage and I've currently got only chrome open and my ram is showing 5gb being used.
I was trying to stream from remote play via OBS last night and even in 540p it was terrible, it got rid of the lag but because I'd turned all the settings down so low it looked like the picture was jumping by the time it got to switch.
The picture on the remote play is perfect but awful by the time it hits OBS using window capture.
I know the mac is far from perfect for this kind of thing but realistically what type of settings should I be using?
Thank you for any help
