Question / Help What prerequisites are required?

I'm running it on my VM and it keeps telling me I need some Direct X prerequisite. Is there anything else?

The reason I'm asking is because the link that it opens is dead.

OBS require DirectX 10.1 or OpenGL 3.2 compatible GPU and VMs rarely provide that.

But if you are sure it does support that, try http://obsproject.com/go/dxwebsetup and if it doesn't work, see http://obsproject.com/forum/resources/directx-dependency-fixer-dxfix.87/

I have a GT 710 installed and it has worked. I think I have fixed it now. Thank you :)

Ok apparently it still isn't having it. That DXFix says my computer has the VALID files and everything is correct. This is really annoying lol.

OK ITS ACTUALLY FIXED NOW

You have to install vcredist_x64.exe + vcredist_x86.exe
