Helloooooo OBS Forum! I have done deep dive after deep dive and simply cannot find an answer to this question: What settings in OBS have any kind of impact on a Blackmagic DeckLink output?
To be clear, I am not talking about the "DeckLink Output" menu, because duh, those have a direct impact (as well as the Settings > Video section - I'm aware those change what options I have in the DeckLink Output menu). I'm talking about everything under the OBS Settings > Output section. Anything under Streaming tab? Recording? Audio?
A few years ago now I recall changing the encoder under Streaming to NVENC HEVC and that seemed to do something, so I assumed yes, these settings impact the DeckLink. However more recently I tried changing the audio track selection and DeckLink took track 1 no matter what. So now I'm questioning my very existence.
I would love to know more about how OBS sends its output to a DeckLink and how (other than the DeckLink Output menu) I can influence those settings.
