As the question says, what PC hardware is optimal for those?

High-end PC required. Application uses intensively CPU and GPU (custom shaders for 2D transformations).

There is 4 common setups popular among users of the OBS Studio:

1. PC for games and recording/streaming.
2. PC for games + PC for streaming/recording (capture card or rtmp server).
3. Console for games + PC for recording/streaming (capture card or console experience share applications).
4. PC for streaming, mainly video cam source, some audio.

I know, that current build require DirectX 10 and Vista SP2. Video card DirectX 10.x or OpenGL 2.1 or higher compatible.
