OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

Unfortunately, in your case, your GPU doesn't support NVENC. If you think it was working with a previous version of OBS, roll back to it.

OP has a (2) Core (4) Thread CPU, that looks like it's from 2012.....

wow. yea i missed that. it will be hard to do a decent stream with this setup.

Yeah, not too satisfiying, might have to do something like 480p or 360p 30FPS to get it without lag.

I know that. It won't work with v28.x.x. The drivers available are too old, that's why I told the OP to roll back OBS.

Haven't had to do it myself so I'm going to let somebody else answer that. I'm not sure if you should install over the existing or un-install/re-install the previous version & I don't want to mess you up..

In the meantime you should be able to test x264.
I did get it back running by going to
"Software x.264"

Cool, yeah it should run. You'll have to do some testing to see what resolution/fps the encoder can handle without overloading.

Or you can use the Auto Configuration Wizard.
