Hello again everyone,

Back from my last thread now that I got OBS up and running. And fixed the red and blue thing
with the Nvidia card. Thank you for that button btw. But now a new question have arrived...

So what is the best way to capture system sounds with this version of OBS?
Can this be handled in just OBS's window? Or do I need to set something up in Ubuntu as
well? A step by step of what to do would be most helpful.

there's various ways to capture sound. obs uses pulseaudio sinks. if you set your default output device and default input device within the settings menu pulldown, your streams will pick those both up by default. for me personally i don't have the default audio devices set because i want sound controlled per scene. so for me, every scene has to have the audio devices I want captured added to the scene.

Thank you ubuntuaddicted,

I got the sound working, just needed the system sounds, (any coming out of the speakers). Anyways got that old
tower to stream, right around 30~40% of CPU running a 640x360 window. Not to bad for an almost free tower.
But I do know where the Christmas bonus is going...UPGRADES!

Thank you again for all your help,

Cassandra =D
