Question / Help What is Force Scaling for?

Quick question: I recently switched to OBS Studio and set up my Twitch stream. My base resolution is 1440p and my output resolution is 720p. I am using Game Capture to pick up my 1440p game. My question is what does the "force scaling" option (under game capture) do if the output is already 720p? I know that when I set force scaling to 720p, the game window in the preview shrinks, and then I can drag it to the full size again. Does this do anything? Thanks!

'Game Capture', by default, sets Size to value that input (game) provides. Don't scale back to fit canvas size or ignore this setting (or use only it and don't use transform).
