What is causing this occasional shuttering audio?

Here is a 13 second video of the audio issue

It happens once or twice during 1hr 30mins streams. We run OBS on an intel iMac 2020 i7.

I read a lot about setting all sound device to be 44100 Hz or 48 (doesn't matter as long as they are all the same). We did this but the issues continue.

Sorry I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you that it does not sound like a sample rate issue (the 44.1Khz / 48Khz thing).
