What is Best Color Format for 8mm video capture in OBS

Can someone explain whether it is better to record S-video from 8mm tape into OBS using i420 or NV12 color format. These are selectable on the "advanced" settings.

I want to preserve the color info coming from 8mm video thru a BlackMagicDesign Analog to SDI converter.

The S-video into the Analog to SDI converter uses a luminance cable and a single combined chroma cable.

My best advice is to try them both and see what pleasing to the eye. Most people here wouldn't have used or know this format as it's so old.
