Question / Help What does OBS Studio use to detect what app each window belongs to?

The PID (Process ID) will always be changing. But the app SmartGo sometimes has its name, sometimes PID (it's not stable) so I have to recapture every time.

PID doesn't matter, OBS just lists all open windows.

but after restart i have to choose the window from the list again because it's looking for the i.e. Problems window with pid=967 but now it has pid=5422 image

finally i got the right name: image , but it changes to pid sometimes

where should one look to make it unchangeable
