Question / Help What does it mean when the Estimator tells me to lower my resolution to 480p?

Whenever I use the Estimator to determine the optimal settings for my OBS Studio when streaming, it tells me to lower my resolution to 480p. I don't know what that means, I'm unsure if that makes me stupid or ignorant but regardless, I need help. I don't think it's anything too complicated, so I assume I'll have a response soon. Any information would be helpful.

It means that your system/connection cannot support higher output resolutions such as 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) or 720p (1280x720 pixels). The recommendation means that you should set your stream output resolution to 853x480 (for 16:9 or widescreen resolution) or 640x480 (for 4:3 or standard/square resolution). This can be done in OBS Studio > Settings > Video > Output (Scaled) Resolution.
