I have a dual PC streaming setup:
Gaming PC:
CPU: I7-6700K 4.6 GHz
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Monitor: Acer 27 inch 240 Hz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Streaming PC:
CPU: AMD 2700X
Motherboard: Asrock X370 Gaming X ( Latest Bios (P4.90)
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 4GB
Memory: 16 GB RAM (2x8GB Hyper X 2133-14 Fury Black RAM)
Elgato HD 60 PRO
OBS settings are on x264 medium settings 6000 bitrate
OBS can use the software to decode my gamePC only with the option Video Capture Device ( Game Capture does not work)
The Video Capture Device can make use of two different decoders. Screenshot:
The one from Elgato: Elgato Game Capure HD
Screenshot:
or the one from OBS itself: Game Capture HD60 Pro (Video) (#01)
Screenshot:
The one from Elgato is more heavy then the one from OBS itself. like 10 a 25% more load. Now i really have no idea what decoder is better. I cant really see it.
My question what device shall i use? I want the best quality stream possible.
