Hi
I'm planning to stream a live event with an i5/8g laptop using obs with 2 video cams
I'm wondering what capture card(s) should I use?
right now I have the old elgato hd game capture
and currently have been using it with video cam with hdmi output
My back-up plan is to connect the second video cam (when I get it) through the A/V input, and on my laptop I would use the elgato settings software to switch between the two cameras.
But this may be cumbersome, and ideally I want the audio to come from one video/cam source.
I'm wondering if a second capture card is a better solution. And what type? I'm thinking something like magewell, so that most of the processing is done externally and it'll be easy for my laptop two handle the elgato at the same time. Magewell is 300 USD and looking to see if there is a less expensive solution.
Any suggestions is much appreciated!
