Question / Help What bitrate should I use when recording for 4K and 5K Youtube uploading?

I recorded these test videos with a bit rate of 120,000 (which I assume means 120mbps since it doesn't mention a unit of measurement):

5K square canvas, 3800x2880:

4K widescreen canvas, 3840x2160:

Thanks to the commenter on the other thread I made, I realized that the NVenc encoder has a max resolution of 4096x4096, and since GC isn't widescreen, I can still record 5K footage.

I know that the higher the resolution, the higher the bitrate Youtube allocates to the video, and thus the better it looks. It looked clearly better at 1440P/4K/5K when I was playing the test videos on my living room 1080P TV just because of the better bitrate.

But my question is what should I record the bitrate at with various resolutions for Youtube?

I know that at a certain point, it's a waste of upload time to record a high bitrate because Youtube will just decrease it in processing. But where is that cutoff point?

Is there any way to look at those two test videos and see what bitrate they have when playing at 4K and 5K? I have a 6TB HDD, so I'm not worried about HDD space and I don't care about how long it takes to upload, but I'd rather not waste upload time for no reason.

Oh, also, how does FPS affect the bitrate that Youtube allows the video to have? Does a higher FPS make Youtube allow it to use a higher bitrate and thus improve image quality?
