New here and not sure as to where I should post this in the forums.

Around the 7:55:58 time mark, what kind of effects are those or what are they called?

I'm fairly new to OBS and green screens but curious as to how these types of effects are achieved without a green screen and what are they called!

No green screen is used. This is most likely a transparent animation (for example: an animated transparent gif.) It would be contained in a Media Source and made visible at the appropriate time.

Agree this look like an animate media source most likely a Gif file
