Question / Help What are THE best settings for gaming?

Hi,
My name is Sasha and I'm using OBS Multiplatform for like a month now, and I'm starting te get used to it but I still have some lag issues wich I don't have when I'm playing the game myself?
Is their any possibility to fix this?


Specs:
Windows 10
Nvidia Geforce GTX 760M
Intel Core I7-4702MQ 2.2GHz with boost up to 3.2 GHz

Obs MP will implement hardware encoding in the future. This will make a big difference.

Stick to the standard OBS for now, until hardware encoding/Quicksync are implimented into the MP version

Hardware encoding introduces a high level of quality loss.

Using Nvenc/Quicksync gives a big loss of quality in form of pixelration.

However, i guess you should use the stable version of OBS, not the multiplatform which is still an early version with lots of improvements to come, also it misses alot of features

I want the hardware encoding for archiving my stream at high bitrate 1080p/60fps while stremming 720p at moderate bitrate.

Guys, why are you starting a discussion about hardware encoders when the topic starter wanted to know settings for OBS-MP???
@Sasha Vigneron, we would need to see a log file to know your current settings and then we can probably give you some tips:
